(and only you)Top Industry Rag Review:Knowing Stu’s new 2007 single “Beautiful Lady†fills the room with immediate emotion as lead singer Tina Louise, aka “Weezy†& “Aunt Weezyâ€, though more famously known for breaking ground for women in the 1980’s as the “First Female Slam Pit Threat†in U.S. history, melodically and reminiscently offers a look into her own experience with the song’s title woman. While the song sends you a small trip by dropping you a little short as soon as you think you’ve hit the upbeat chorus, Knowing Stu does not let down by the song’s end finishing with their strong signature vocals. With Dean Johanesen, believed in some underground music mags to actually be Johnny Depp, recently coming to the band in the last few years, the song demonstrates dynamic surges of emotion and grit through intricate lines and pounding licks. Shane Warth, aka the “ShaeShae of Flooringâ€, and Clay Cluster, a former FBI informant against the Columbian Drug Cartel with no need for any witness protection, commands the song’s explosion just as Tina’s lyrics start to jerk a familiar tear from the listener. As if they have been jamming together for years in the back of a carpet store, Knowing Stu’s precision and timing reveal that they are ready to break onto the national music scene. We expect Knowing Stu to move to the charts with this song. It is a must listen for any fan of rock, period. One thing is for certain, by song’s end you will walk away thinking only of the beautiful lady . . . wondering if she is a mortal soul or a mirror’s reflection.
