My interests lie in all types of Art, painting and sculpting. I love fishing and boating, any excuse to be out on the water. Socializing with my friends, a good converstaion inspires me.
To one Artist to another... The beauty of art is how real you can make the picture seem. So you can catch your admirer's off guard, to stand there to day dream. The secret to art is what you see, what makes an artist is how determind one can be.
I love classical music. A little bit of country, and a little bit of rock and roll. I like any type of music that is relaxing and soothing to the soul. My favorite artist is Scott Avery!
My friends who know me well, know that I am a great fan of Red Skelton. I love the classics and I love the old musicals. Especially with Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and Jimmy Stewart. I even love Jerry Lewis and Dean Martine! And yes, my friends still love me! Spending most of my childhood with Grandma did that, I guess. I'm always up for a good comedy or action movie because you need a little bit of a reality check too.
I do not watch tv during the week or on the weekends. I stick my head out to door to see what the weather is like every morning. I would have to be pretty board to turn the tv on just to see what is on or to watch the news. I will play some music before I do that. But not having cable might be a big part of the reason for that too.
I can't start a book because I usually read the last page first.
