About Me

Well, if you ask me what music this exactly is supposed to be – I can’t really tell you since I’m not sure myself :) I’ve recorded Hibernation over the past three years and like most people I tend to shift in my musical favorites what of course influences whatever I’m working on at the time. Styles move from club-beats to nu-jazz spiced up with tons of arpeggiators and layers giving it an electronica and ambient flavor. However, I believe there is a red line throughout the album holding it together. Basically the recording of Hibernation was my personal experience of finding a way to combine electronic music and typical jazz, funk and rock guitar in a well balanced sound and musical arrangement – and believe me, due to the contrary nature of these two sound worlds that sometimes was quite a challenge. On the other hand I’ve latterly raped my goo’ ol’ sixstrings with all sorts of processor-units and plug-in’s so you can hardly identify them as guitars. For all of you who dig the sound of HIBERNATION - the record is digitally available on almost every common download site - go ahead and get your legal copy. Sounds Like: Smooth, funky, jazzy, cool and electronic! With a good portion of e-vibes Hibernation appears in a well balanced mixture of 'handcrafted' playing plus contemporary sampling & programming wrapping up a wide range of musical genres to a spicy 21. century audio-plesure package in the style of Jaffa, Thievery Corporation, dZihan & Kamien, Tosca, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Beanfield, Kid Loco, Index ID, Aural Float, Sushi Club or Baby Mammoth.
