About Me

SURVIVAL TACTICSAn all star cast of Australian Hip Hop combine in a powerful, theatrical journey through the struggles of the urban metropolis. From the streets and clubs to the jails and bedrooms; songlines and beatbox, Bboying and body percussion, salsa and scratching all mix in a flick of the DJ's crossfader. Rhyme, spoken word, graffiti and physical theatre combine to tell gritty, uplifting stories of survival. "Survival tactics in a musical form, hear the DJ transform, transform the norm, life, be in it, Hip Hop is born, 45 or 33, keep the beat strong" Produced and Directed by Morganics Associate Director Gerard Veltre Created and performed by Maya Jupiter, Nick Power, Morganics, Wire MC and Sista Native and Bboy Jay (Wickid Force) Graffiti set and costume design by Jesta157, Hiro, Duel, Spice One and Cruel.
