About Me

I've been told that I need to update my about me...Sarah. So life is great! I graduated college in March, drove my car back to Louisiana, had a graduation party where I got to see just about everyone I love and care about at the same time, went to Europe for 2 weeks and had the time of my life with Missy, went home for 2 weeks for an unforgetable visit, then bought myself a one way ticket to New York City to live a dream. Wow! It's been a busy year so far. I would have to say that I'm better than ever! California was a wonderful experience where I got to live a life I never imagined I would have and I met so many wonderful people. I no longer hate all the men in the world...which is nice! And I feel more like me than I have in a really long time. I still miss my family and friends terribly and know that I will head back South before too long but NY has been a dream since I was like 15...so I have to do it! I love pickles, cotton candy, lazy days in bed, yoga, my ipod, everything colorful, southern men, honest people, getting into a made up bed, Sex and the City, the smell of cotton fields, pasta of any kind, movies, getting the giggles, comfy clothes, cigarettes and all the people that make my world go round. I hate bad drivers, liars, washing the dishes, hamburger buns, bought hamburger meat, being told I can't do something, and milk. My motto at this moment is that we only live once. Dream big, live well, laugh often, love to the fullest, and be honest. I can't wait to see what the rest of this year will bring! The last 3 years of my life have proved that anything is possible.

My Interests

Photography. Cooking and Movies. I love my friends. My family is very important to me and I miss them alot! The Yankees. Yoga.

I'd like to meet:

Trust, Honesty, Pride, Confidence, and Humor. Someone who can relate to the way I was raised~ that loves me for who I was born to be!, that gets dirty from time to time if not all the time!, that is confident!, socialable, doesn't take life too serious, who loves my family as much as I do!, Who don't have or have ever had a drug problem, A man that can be passionate about something!

Music:

I like alot of older music of any kind. Country, Rock, Old Rock, some rap. Really any thing other than head banging music. I love John Lennon! Percy Sledge, Conway Twitty, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Eagles, Johnny Cash and anything country from old to some of the new stuff. Jack Johnson, John Mayer, George Straight... My favorite song of all time is "You are my sunshine." I love to hear it sung by anyone!!

Movies:

Almost Famous...I can nearly quote the entire movie. The Notebook, Fever Pitch, Dazed and Confused, The Land Before Time, The Wedding Date, Alfie...every man should be forced to see that one, Closer...a real look at life, Walk the Line...one more reason to love southern men! Pretty Woman, Anne of Greene Gables, Keeping the Faith, US vs. John Lennon, Thank you for Smoking, Little Miss Sunshine, Big Fish, Mr.Magoriums Wonder Emporium, Forest Gump, Under the Tuscan Sun

Television:

I haven't had cable for 4 months so I don't really know. I used to love Oprah! Dirty Jobs, Anything on Food Network, The Cosby Show, Friends, home makeover shows. Wow...I kinda sound boring. I don't have time for tv.

My mother for being so wonderful and confident, my mamaw for her greatness, my daddy for showing me what hard work means, and my papaw for being the most trustworthy and honest person I'll ever know.
