I am here for Friends

About Me

Old. Employed as a coin-op tech for the last 10 years, and I'm damn good at it. I usually frequent redneck bars on the job and have been called: "Money Man/Guy", "Quarter Man/Guy", "Game Man/Guy", "That Tall motherfucker", "Thug lookin' Motherfucker", "Honey", "Darlin", "Buddy", "Juke box Man/Guy", "You owe me five dollars", "You'd better fix that fuckin' juke box or I'm thowin' it in the fuckin' lake", etc. I usually have ten projects goin' at once. Current ones are: Two Honda 350 twins under a tarp in the driveway, A '62 Volkswagon Single Cab, One 1920's house, various computers/stereos/vintage electronics/microcontrollers/recording devices/ham radios/guitars/basses/amps, and more. I can fix anything, given the proper tools. I'm currently enrolled in online classes at DeVry, where I am schoolin' for a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering. When I'm not tinkering, I play drums in three bands: thinline , Cockleburr Slough , and Drive Theory. Other than that, I'm usually dorkin' around with Linux or drunk downtown with my friends and/or fiancee. I also have an extremely odd taste in automobiles - old VW's, school busses, city busses, old trucks, etc. Soon I will have a yard full, on cinder blocks.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Fellow friends, musicians, inventors, programmers, mechanical and electrical engineers, surplus parts house owners, aircooled VW fans, junkyard owners, tinkerers & drinkers.

Oh yeah, and Nicole Lee, vocalist of the band Znowhite from 1982-1986. Where are you, Nicole?
