I am a drummer of exceptional versatility. I have studied under masterful African drummers such as Jojo Quo and Paco Serry as well as American Jazz drummers. my style is heavily influenced by the places I've lived: Africa, Europe, America and the Islands. these experiences shine through my drumming which I perceive as a honest and developed collage of the African Diaspora. Most recently, stints was with an Oakland Punk/Soul band named Damon and the Heathens. Currently associated with Jimbo Trout (blue grass), Kalbass and Lakai (Haitiain and soukous, Jason Gouveia (folk) Skunk Runners (trip hop, reggae) and some gospel at my church.I’m a drummer that loves being the drummer. I've no hang ups about being in the back holding shit down, don't even have to solo but I love to groove.
