Ukrainian electronic duet 2Special is a popular house project that produces uncommon interesting and new sound. Its creators are young and talented musicians Yuriy Hvostik and Leonid Butenko. Since youth guys have devoted a lot of time for creating arrangements, experimental tracks and remixes. Strong friendship and similarity in musical tastes have lead to decision to work together. Permanency lovers by nature, Yuriy and Leonid have combined their forces for high effectiveness of joint creativity. So, in 2003 2Special was formed – young perspective project, which becomes really famous nowadays. Guys become residents of one of the biggest Ukrainian dance radio station KissFM. Authors’ tracks of the project have rashly got into hot rotation, gaining big popularity among the listeners.Chain of big victories and public recognition begin from the success on the annual awarding ceremony Top Dj Awards in 2006. 2Special’s remix on Dj Move’s Track “My Sdelaem Vas Schastlivymi†(“We’ll make you happyâ€) becomes a laureate in 2 nomination – Top Remix 05/06 and Top Release 05/06. After victory in “BK Remix Competition†with the remix on “Systematic†single, 2Special gets support from the British recording companies “Riot Recordings†and “Fakt Recordingsâ€.
