I’m the oldest of four girls, which has led to an overdeveloped bossiness and guilty sense of responsibility, as well as the understanding that my dad must be something close to a saint. I’ve lived from coast to coast, but am a Midwest girl at heart.I went to Augustana College where I met my best friends. It’s amazing how people that are so different can come together when forced to share a community bathroom! I love all of my Blue House girls and all of the stories we’ve shared… over and over again. There’s a reason our other halves run in fear when we’re together!After a fairly brief stint in the real world, I went back to school to get my MBA where I met more great people and had a blast for two years. We then moved to Wisconsin where the 6 months of winter are offset by two nice weeks of summer. I have started to hear myself speak like a Wisconsinite which is truly frightening and must stop! I like Wisconsin and all, but there are still a few things I haven’t gotten used to….Insanity over the Packers year-round, dead deer strapped to the top of minivans during hunting season, bubblers, and blatantly incorrect grammar…I’ll borrow it to you… Seriously?? And there is no “i†in creek!I work as a marketer for an ice cream company which most days is a lot of fun, and I love it. I spend entirely too much time at it.We have two cats who graciously allow us to stay at their house.I love to travel, and have to say we’ve been to some pretty amazing places. It’s hard to pick which one is my favorite…I’d say top three are Machu Picchu, Athens and China. Someday I want to get to Egypt to see the pyramids.
