Uploaded by xchannel The Children of the Revolution started in 2003 at a glamrock party. A few musicians came together to perform songs of the legendary band T-rex. The performance was very succesful and therefore the musicians decided to form a band and then "the children of the revolution" was born. Children of the revolution is a tribute to the wonderful music of Marc Bolan and his band T-rex.Marc Bolan was one of the pioneers of glamrock. The golden years of this style of rockmusic were in the early 70s. T-rex's popularity reached the level of the popularity of the Beatles in the 60s also with screaming fainting girls in the audience. The creative brain of T-rex, Marc Bolan, had a lot of charisma and was a very talented songwriter and guitarist. Known for his dynamic guitar style, catlike wail, and dark corkscrew hair, he was a major figure on the English rock music scene in the 70s and influenced many rockmusicians by his music and style. Unfortunately Marc Bolan died in a tragic carcrash at September 16th 1977, two weeks before his 30th birthday. The Children of the revolution are keeping his music alive with great respect...
