Animals: I own a rabbit named Usagi ("Bunny" for the non-animephiles) and a cat named Dalek: Destroyer of Couches (his FULL proper name is Dalek: Duke of the High Places, Ruler of the Windowsills, Destroyer of Couches, and avid fan of physics experiments). No one owns a rabbit anymore... Why not?? They're quiet, and can teach themselves where to go to the bathroom. The only problem I guess is (having a boy bunny myself) the need to find sex toys for them if you plan on keeping the one alone. Bunny must have 5 stuffed animals in his cage now!Board Games: Betrayal at the House on the Hill, Kill Doctor Lucky, Shadows over Camelot, Carcassone: The Castle, Monopoly, Scrabble (though Scrabble and I have a tumultuous past), Yinsh, Canasta, and others.Games: We Love Katamari, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Resident Evil 4, Kingdom Hearts I and II, Super Monkey Ball, Fable, all the Myst series, Super Mario Galaxy, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, etc.
Everyone of kind spirit. And Ted Nugent... So I can lick him.
The current kick is the soundtrack from Across the Universe and a lot of KT Tunstall. Also the Dethklok: Dethalbum and Threshold (an awesome hair band that made it through the 90's).I listen to and enjoy everything (except for new country and rap/hip-hop - what I mean by "new country" is anything made after the 80's). I love classical music. I can say, without a doubt, that Antonin Dvorak is my favorite composer. Something about his music moves me. I love Yo-yo Ma and the Silk Road Ensemble, Joshua Bell is AMAZING, and as for modern I like John Williams and Danny Elfman.Jazz is beautiful. I sing jazz most of the time. If you're a jazz pianist, upright bass player, clarinet or saxophone, or jazz drummer, PLEASE contact me.
The list is SO long and so full of contradictions that to put it on the Myspace servers would cause a massive crash.Thought I should mention: I think the Doctor Who Movie with Eric Roberts and Paul McGann was quite possibly the only movie I physically ran from, screaming. Though, thank God, it led to the series revitalization.
Anderson Cooper 360, Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Project:Runway, Top Design, Futurama, Venture Bros., Harvey Birdman, LOST, Scrubs, Firefly, Moral Orel, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Metalocalypse, ATHF, Doctor Who (the old and new), Torchwood, etc.
I just read Ender's Game and loved it. A Ring of Endless Light by Madeline L'Engle will remain dear to my heart for ages, Treasure by Clive Cussler, Valhalla Rising by Clive Cussler, Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and American Gods by Neil Gaiman. I also finished Coraline Neverwhere, and Stardust (all by Neil Gaiman as well). I love dry wit and fantasy more than anything. I don't read much lately because I'm busy... And I just got a Wii... so even less now.
My mother, who can wire a house, sew me a victorian dress, cook me bread from scratch, and then laugh as I say vulgar things.
