Sammy Gurule was a friend to all and was loved by all. He died in a car accident Friday November 10, 2006. He was coming home to his parents and family for a restful weekend. He was a graduate of Mesa Vista High School. He attended Mesa Vista his entire school career. He was an active member in the Mesa Vista FFA Chapter and held the office of Presdent his senior year. He was also a member of the 4-H community. Sammy loved to tend to his ranch and animals. Through his hard work, he placed many animals in the top five of every competion. Sammy was attending New Mexico State University as a incoming freshman. He planned to be a veternarian when he graduated. If you knew Sammy you would agree he was a great person with a big soul!We will always love Sammy Gurule!!
