About Me

MySpace Layouts MySpace Codes MySpace Backgrounds

Born and raised in Memphis, Tn (with a small detour in New Orleans, LA), I've been in the Northwest for about three and a half years. One dream down; two to go.

I love to write, but I find it's hard writing about MYSELF in a little blurb. I'm trying to think of all-encompassing info to put here so I don't have to change this section every few months. Ah, to hell with it: if you've made it this far in the paragraph, chances are you know me well enough for me to forgo the laundry list of Dave Details. The end :)

And everything experimental 'till death was upon us, in our face mortality, and lots of things seemed futile then. But love and music can save us; and did...while the giant grey monster grew more poisoned and volatile around us, jaws clamping down, spewing ugly shit around...nothing is the same so we keep moving...We Keep Moving A.K., Deep Kick

There's a helluva lot more to me, but those are what's on the top of my head as I try to summarize the essence of "me" righthererightnow in front of this keyboard. Any other questions, inquire within.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

So long as you're not a friend collecting band or a webcam ho, I feel that you can learn from anyone, so..."anyone."

My Blog

Fumbling Towards Erudition

It's funny; these pages were once my sole lifeline for writing.  Two, sometimes three or four times a week I'd find myself neatly and (sort of) articulately encapsulating my little world, 400-700 word...

"Atleast It's Not Raining..."

I've been jogging to work as of late.  It's easy to stick to an exercise program when it's also your way of transportation.  Six miles each day.  (or 'just' three if I'm lazy and take the bus back).  ...

The End of the World, pt. 43,389,989,983,007

After finishing my delectable carbohydrates-in-a-box dinner, I flipped on the History Channel.  They were playing a re-run from about two years back; a doom and gloom portrait of how the world will co...

Carpe Diem...and Other Trite Phrases n' Observations

"Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by the sun..."Be it Shakespeare or Steinbeck, that's a damn good adage for these Northwest winters.     'Evening folks, let's chat.I'm energet...

Sea Change

Well, this was originally going to be a quick status update; a brief bulletin at the most.  However, I realized there's a whole helluva lot to write about these days--almost too much, in fact.&nb...

Fait Accompli

Two yards and a cloud of dust--NOLA, here I come.  I just hope the carnage of Katrina hasn't completely disfigured the friendly, once familiar confines of the French Quarter.  At a...

In Anticipation of Flannel and Doc Martins

(insert totally radical greeting here.  All I can come up with is 'Cowabunga,' but that was on the cusp of the early 90's, so....) As I was perusing the usual pit stops on the internet this morni...
