It’s such a pity that we are almost 36 years too late… As this lady should have been on the original ’69 Woodstock bill!Heather Waters just oozes freshness. Her expressive nature puts you into that late 60’s trance that if you let everything around you fade into the background and zoom backwards into that time-warp where freedom-of-expression reigned supreme you’ll get an inkling of what her music is all about. This is particularly evident as her songs are almost acted out on stage as she has an incredibly unique approach in both sound and performance.
Check out her album 'Lyrics in My Pocket' which was released March 2007 and her EP 'Hope you are Happy' in November 2008. Watch out, Waters is rising! www.heatherwatersmusic.com
"ROADTRIPPIN TOUR 2008"
"We packed the Campervan up with our Instruments, Sound Equipment, Merchandise, Tents, Fire-Spinning-thing (firepoi) and other toys (water pistols, juggling balls, gamestations), not forgetting our party treats and SOUR SWEETS, and we missioned on various roadtrips between the Western & Eastern Cape, South Africa.
December 2008 we followed the Backpackers Route from Cape Town to Durban, performing at Backpackers Lodges, Live Music Venues, Markets, and Shopping Centres en-route. Our mission? To raise funds and awareness for Community and Environmental Projects in the towns and villages we visit!"
