Where would I be without you?

About Me

I so love laughing, enjoying friends, sharing genuine conversations, & goofing off because life can be a lot of fun... once I stop trying to figure everything out.

...what does that mean? which option should I choose? what if this happens, will that too or will I have to do this instead?

What? MySpace? Oh right! Writing “About Me”

Ultimately I am most often fueled by the opportunity to make a difference. Lives come and go, leaving a mark of Love, because my Hero, marked me with His Love—is an immensely fulfilling experience. And that’s why I get out of my cozy bed every morning...

My Interests

Cultures, Travel, Missions, People's hearts, chats over Tall Soy No Water Chai Lattes---MmmmMmmmMMM!

I'd like to meet:

At least once a month, strangers will comment on my features resembling Condoleeza Rice. So honestly, I would love to meet her, just to see if she feels like she is looking in a mirror!

Hence the video below, nicely shot in Buenos Aires. Our summer mission team was all dressed up to meet the Governor when Benjy decided to grab someone's iPod to look like a secret service agent escorting "Condi" to her car outside the hotel. LOL. Benjy and I were supposed to be leading the team and midway through the shoot our Project Manager Dave stops us to give us direction to get everyone out of the hotel because we were potentially late for the meeting with the Governor--eek! Dave was a bit dumbfounded that Benjy pushed beyond him but quickly after our video shoot, Benjy and I pulled out of character and got our team moving! Dave still loves us!

Music:

60's Jazz, Bollywood soundtracks, Euro-chill or Train Jazz from my siblings... Mat Kearney, Coldplay, Hillsong United, Charlie Hall, Deliriou5?, Paul Wright, U2, Kirk Franklin, Israel, David Crowder

Movies:

I am totally moved by Brave Heart and LOTR 3: The Return of the King.

But I dig Action movies like Bourne Supremacy, Mission Impossible 2 & 3, and I can't deny I really enjoyed Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift--seriously I sat, jaw dropped on the edge of my theatre seat!

Occasionally I will see a scary movie with my friends--but totally close my eyes! My favorite was a night at the Morrison home, about 12 of us were watching a scary movie. At a crazy scary moment I closed my eyes and the whole group jumped and screamed! I opened my eyes asking, "What happened, what happened!?" Hyla yelled and hit me with her pillow, "Did you close your eyes!? I knew it, you were the only one who didn't scream!" I still laugh at that.

Television:

TV isn't a hot commodity to me...but I will admit I love 24 and Alias on DVD!

Books:

Currently enjoying: Chazown and Isaiah & Psalms in the OT.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, hands down, His amazing feat and victory over the Enemy rocks my soul!
