Patrik Giangregorio, better known as DJ Dainskin is also considered as one of the precursor of the flourishing Bienna House scene and belongs to the ever popular and most successful House DJs of Switzerland. He was joint founder of High House Records, one of the first Swiss House labels, and produced the House classical "Move your body".Dainksin was born on March 4, 1969 in Interlaken. At the age of 10, his family moved to Bienna. Coming from the Hip Hop scene - when young person for Disco radio and Chicago House left itself and from the Acid House wave to drag along.
His records cover today far over 10,000 discs. At the end of the eighties, he met DJ Dani König, who infected the, at this time, 18 years old young man from Bienna with the House virus and gave him the opportunity, to gain first experiences at the mixer.But Dainskins principal interest remained with the dance for the time being. The passionate hobby dancer abandoned his apprenticeship as a machinist and started the formation at the Colombo Dance Factory in Zurich as a professional dancer. The following time he spent mainly abroad, where he had different commitments in clubs and with TV stations in Germany, France and Italy, there among other things as soloist with the RAI and as an animation dancer in the party temples of Rimini.The fact that Dainksin became finally a DJ owes the local party municipality of the Swiss Army. Back from Rome, where he had finished his commitment with the RAI, a movement order expected the professional dancer: R-S, meant 17 long weeks away of the window and thus the early end of the dancer career. Thus Dainskin 1992 short hand decided to hang up the dance shoes and to pursue a career as DJ and a producer after the military training school.With his sets he brought immediately hip House discos like the New York in Neuchatel, the No Joke, the Biella Factory and the Take 5 Club in Bienna to a boil. At this time, Dainksin developed also its typical sound: temperful, more pumping, extremely dancable House, which is peppered also more frequently with elements from radio and Hip Hop. Mid of the 90’s, finally Dainksin launched with High House Records one of the first House labels of Switzerland and created 1997 with "Move your body" the final break-through. The track, which he produced together with Steven F., Andre B. and Thomas H. on High House Records, became a real hit and made his way on innumerable mix CDs and compilations like the "39 Flavours of Tech Funk" Compilation the star Dave Angel. Till 2001, there followed various house mix CDs at Energetic Records. He worked at the same time in most hip clubs and Raves abroad Switzerland and abroad.Dainskin is regularly present as resident DJ in the Castellino Club in Bienna.
