Mr. Blister

Mr. Blister is a Danish band formed in 1992 in Brønderslev - a town overcrowded with rowdies and hay-chewing sons of peasants. And finally - after years of dawdling we have recorded some songs. The band name is taken from a song Lars Lindstrøm once made called "You are my fruitcake". This song is about an abnormally growing teenager with an exaggerated love for vegetables... furthermore he has an odd habit of "putting his feet in the spinach" wearing white rubber boots. Unfortunately he always gets blisters on his feet because it's impossibly to buy white boots the size his feet have grown. His best friend's sister is a nurse (the inflatable kind) and every night she is prickling his blisters with a dull needle, while she's gently singing "Mary had a little lamb ... little lamb .... little lamb" with the voice of his mother, who used to perform as a fallen angel every Christmas night. In the Mr. Blister universe you'll find other exiting things like witches, gluttony, wizards, indians, envy, horses, hurricanes, anger, rivers, hippies, dreams, vultures, lust, Jesus, salmons, death, love, mad axemen, greed, pain, sorrow, capitols, circles, Odin, pride, joy and he is lazy as hell...
