About Me

Deemed as one of the hottest accordionists in America, Norco’s own country boy is heating up the stages Tim Padilla, also known as "The Entertainer,” was discovered by Welk casting agents when he became a finalist in the American Accordionists Association and Welk Champagne Theatre's "Search for the Hottest Accordionist" in 1999. Tim became a regular performer and audience favorite in the live production of "The Welk Show" in Branson for six years. He has also participated in national tours of The Lawrence Welk Show, appeared in three national fundraising -- pledge drive specials for PBS that were taped at the Welk Champagne Theatre (aka Welk Resort Theatre) in Branson, and in 2005 hosted the Lawrence Welk Show “Family of Nations.” Thanks to a special deal of "Six free music lessons" he received from a fellow second grader, Tim became interested in the accordion early on. He was soon competing in accordion contests nationwide and has won top prizes in his age division over the past 10 years. Tim has been influenced by many producers and artists including Bonita Walsh, Claude Earl Jones, David Longoria, and Romina Arena. Tim is no stranger to the hot music scene having performed "Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door" along with Guns ‘n’ Roses "Slash" and serenaded Tony Bennett over the radio. And, during a Christmas party in Los Angeles, Tim played "Little Drummer Boy" on-stage with the band "Chicago." He has numerous credits as an actor in television and commercials. Currently working on various projects both as a producer and musician, Padilla is also the Co-Founder of New Found Records located in Los Angeles, CA. Tim's latest recording projects include his new 6-piece band “Rockabellows” - located out of Branson, MO; and his 12-piece swing band "Rhythm on the Rocks" - located in Southern California.
FOR MORE INFO VISIT: www.timpadilla.comAbout New Found Records
New Found Records was founded by Brent Mosley and Tim Padilla because they realized that there are many artists that have produced and recorded great music but do not know how or maybe simply don’t have the ability to get their music out to a mass audience.
The intention of New Found Records is to find these artists and their music and present it to the world so that others will have an opportunity to enjoy great quality music that otherwise would never be heard.
New Found Records makes available music of quality and of a value that far surpasses the nominal price they ask.
Be sure to go to www.NewFoundRecords.com and check in often as they are always presenting newly discovered artists and music.
