THANKS FOR SUPPORTING TEAM AARRRGH IN THE FIGHT TO CURE MS!!
This is Team AARRRGH's MySpace page. Team AARRRGH has been a participating team in Accelerated Cure Project's Annual "Hunt to Cure MS Scavenger Hunt" since 2003. The members of Team AARRRGH are dedicated in helping ACP find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
The Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis is a national nonprofit dedicated to curing MS by determining its causes. Founded in 2001, it began as the Boston Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis and started formally branching out nationally in 2005 under the umbrella name Accelerated Cure Project for MS, with the Boston Cure Project as the national headquarters and New England affiliate.
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system in which myelin and axonal injury leads to various symptoms such as blurred vision, weakness and numbness, and even paralysis or loss of vision. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 40 but the unpredictable physical and emotional effects can be life-long. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted. Approximately 400,000 people in the United States (and 2 million world-wide) have MS with 200 people being diagnosed weekly
