Abdul Raheem Shabazz, also known as “Big Heem,†is a former bodyguard to numerous celebrities (including Dr. Dre, Li’l Mo, & Rodney “Dark Child†Jerkins) with over 15 years of experience in the music and movie industries. He is recognized as an expert in professional security measures, business consulting, and music production. With his ability to recognize and create trends within the entertainment industry, Big Heem has introduced and connected himself to the “Who’s Who†in entertainment and is finally being recognized for his power and knowledge. Big Heem is primarily responsible for collaborating TOPIC , a rap artist with the Drama Family, and DOM WAN , a former Dark Child producer, with the movie Taken By Force, which is due to be released in 2007.
Big Heem first started as the CEO of his own Professional Bodyguard Agency in Flint, Michigan. Special Forces Professional Bodyguard Agency, is nationally recognized today as one of the top agencies for celebrities, political leaders, and other wealthy individuals.
His brother, Big Chuck Stanton, CEO of Drama Family Entertainment, has crowned Big Heem as “THA FORCE†behind the Drama Family movement by assigning him as their Chief of Security.
Abdul Raheem Shabazz’s talent doesn’t end at his untouchable track record in the security industry; he has also made a name for himself in martial arts, music, and youth advocacy. As a martial artist he currently holds a 2nd degree Black Belt and has taught classes and engaged in competition on all levels. With an ear for musical talent, Mr. Shabazz is currently involved with several production projects, including the soundtrack for Taken By Force and other movies in the planning stages of production. He is in the final development of his DVD Welcome to the Streets, which is scheduled to release under "Big Heem Entertainment/BackStreet Records"
Another passion, close to Mr. Shabazz’s heart, is the future of our youth. As the proud founder and CEO of the non-profit organization, Forces 4 Life Youth Against Violence, he is the driving force behind the organization’s overall vision and direction. By interfacing with corporate and industry executives and community leaders, it is Abdul Raheem Shabazz’s goal and mission to motivate our youth by providing positive alternatives to the crime and violence that has become the poison of choice for so many of the children in our communities.
