CITIZENS

With KRI$I$ being from San Francisco and Marlon Mo being from the Los Angeles Area , these guys got the whole state of California covered. This group met up by way of the streets of San Francisco. While KRI$I$ was working on his PETTY CASH : THE DEBUT album (released in summer 2004) in 2003 he met Marlon Mo. Fascinated by his beatbox improvs and his vocals, KRI$I$ asked Marlon Mo to get on a skit for his album and he accepted. The year that followed the two decided it was time to hit the Mixtape Circuit and give everyone a look into the future. With recent troubles both members of the group ended up incarcerated for separated affairs making it harder for the MIXTAPE MINDSTATE album to be a reality. But after all the trials and tribulations these two have endured the album was finished. The Citizens does not only consist of these two artist there are about 20 others in the group including Anthony J., Its Nuttin, Louie Vetinni, T-Mac, Melq, Rev. Mike F. & gang of others.
