JAMMING
Well, here I am again trying to get moving along with this music site. I am so happy to be adding more versions of my songs. These songs have been a true labor of love as they have been in the works since around 1997 when I started writing them.
Some people tell me that I shouldn’t put them up since they are NOT finished, but I was never one to care, impatient as I am! The reactions have been quite favorable even though they are only “rough mixes.†As it is, I would rather have SOMETHING out then NOTHING at all. And yes, they are all copy written!
It has been a very rough few years for me, and I would be a lucky person if these songs were even to be finished as I almost just scraped them completely.
I would like to thank a few people who helped me along in this journey in the making of my musical diary. All work is being done with the guiding hand of Tom Speigler at BLOKHED STUDIOS. His facilities are top notch as is Tom’s ear for music. I would be nowhere if not for him. Thank you Tom! And thanks for all the wonderful drumming on each song. I know I argued my ass off about everything but in the end it all worked out!
I would also like to thank all the musicians I have worked with along the way in the metamorphosis of this project. First and foremost, Thank you Nick. If you hadn’t found me in Sam Ash then none of this would have happened in the first place. I also enjoyed jamming with you and Tom. I think we made some insane music and I really miss those nights!
I also need to thank Terry Tomei. You are a wonderful guitar player and an unbelievable songwriter. I also think you have one of the most wonderfully unique voices I ever heard. I can’t wait to work with you again.
I also want to thank Mike, Rich, Ed, Charlie, Curt, and anyone else who had laid down a track or two. More to come in the future!
