with thousands that recalls his glory days of the 80's, 90's into early 2000
when that R&B / Rocking Tenor sax help lay the foundation for legendary crooner
Rod Steward. His powerful tenor sound continues to move crowds around the globe.Jimmy sustains his level of success and solo career by connecting with
several local California based and nationally recognized musicians,
gracing the stage with Etta James, The Eurythmics, Pianist Rob Mullins,
R&B singer Derek Bordeaux, Sade, Randy Jacobs, David Benoit, Greg
Karukas and the group Big Advice, just to name a few.While maintaining a busy schedule touring the country with the enchanting
Carly Simon, Rick Braun and others, Jimmy still involves himself with
studio work, writing and producing soundtracks, and motivational CD's.With subsequent releases, "Bless My Soul" on the Soultone Records label,
Jimmy remains focused on the art of creating music that is not only
soulful but music that comes from the heart and makes listeners conscious
of their spiritual need.Jimmy studied with Frank Carballo Suffolk, Virginia and was influenced by such
greats as John Coltrane, Michael Brecker, Grover Washington Jr., King Curtis,
and Junior Walker. His most recent inspiration comes from Kirk Whalum.Jimmy resides in Southern California and is very active in the music scene. His latest release gives clear and present demonstration of Jimmy's ability as a composer, lyricist and performer as he delivers the spiritual sounds of love, joy and peace found on
"We Are Never Alone".
