About Me

I am originally from New York City, reside here as well. In my twenties. I like meeting new people. I am pretty easy to get along with. I probably should be working harder and playing even harder. I trust you until you prove me wrong. I love making people smile. I like to laugh - A LOT! I love doing make-up. I have been inspired to start painting again. I love anything sparkly. My sense of humor is somewhat witty, dark and silly. :-P Pretentious and superficial people really annoy me....except when it comes to dope sneakers!! I have an open mind, laid back vibe. I order my eggs scrambled. Going Vegan is someting I'm considering. I love spicy food. Chai Latte... YUM. I looove Stoli Blueberry, club soda with a twist of lime. When I drink, I drink too much. I feel incomplete when I am stuck inside on a nice day but I love being under my comforter playing video games or watching a good flick. I can't hold grudges. I have a fear of rumbly elevators. Love family. I have a little dog named Diamond who violates her stuffed animals everyday - Ha! I'm due for a trip to Hawaii...I'm due for another trip - period! I have a fairly good sense of direction. Pretty good intuition too. I have a small research fetish. Same with sunglasses. I can only love one person at a time and who ever that may be gets 200% of me. I don't have many regrets but sometimes wonder about choices I've made - wether they be good or bad. I tend to have a hard time following some type of order - hence my scattered "About Me" paragraph - could be my A.D.D...hee!
If you didn't already know...I love my dog

My Interests

DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY, BE WITH WHO MAKES YOU SMILE, LAUGH AS MUCH AS YOU BREATHE AND LOVE AS LONG AS YOU LIVE.

Three passions have governed my life:

The longings for love, the search for knowledge and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.

Love brings ecstasy and relieves loneliness. In the union of love, I have seen in a mystic miniature, the prefiguring vision of the heavens that saints and poets have imagined.

With equal passion, I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of people. I have wished to know why the stars shine. A little of this but not much I have achieved.

Love and knowledge led upwards to the heavens, but always pity brought me back to earth. Cries of pain reverberated in my heart of children in famine, of victims tortured and of old people left helpless. I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot and I too suffer.

This has been my life. I have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered me.

Martin Luther King Jr.:

"Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."

Jimi Hendrix:

"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

Friedrich Nietzsche:

"There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness."

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."

"The advantage of a bad memory is that one enjoys several times the same good things for the first time."

Bertrand Russell:

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

"There is much pleasure to be gained from useless knowledge."

"Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric."

"Everything is vague to a degree you do not realize till you have tried to make it precise."

Mark Twain:

"Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please."

"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."

Marilyn Monroe:

"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely stupid."

I'd like to meet:
