At just 22 years of Age Sam Walker has a lot of experience under his belt as he has been DJing since he was just 13. Sam has done a lot of work in his home town Liverpool, starting off in the smaller bars and clubs before moving on to bigger and better things as time went on. Sam’s style of music is split into two genres. He plays Tech-House and Electro and up-front House. He currently holds residencies at Dreamland, Spun Out, his own brand House-Sessions and most recently, Cube a brand new club in the Liverpool.
Dreamland has been host to DJ’s such as: Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes, Eddie Halliwell, Lisa Pin-Up, Tidy Boys, John Askew, Matt Hardwick, Riley and Durrant, Adam Sheridan, and many more. Sam has played alongside all of these superstars and has also been involved in the tour nights that Dreamland has hosted such as Goodgreef and Tidy Vs Extreme Euphoria. Sam began playing Trance and Tech-Trance at Dreamland but then developed into Dreamlands only House Resident building things up for the main acts or playing the main set in the back room.
Spun Out is a house brand based in Liverpool. Spun Out has also seen big name DJ’s such as: The Trophy Twins, Judge Jules, Oliver Lang, Jo Mills and had a world famous weekly resident in John Kelly. Along with the big nights that Sam plays at he also runs his own night, House-Sessions which has been held in various venues in Liverpool including super club Jaxx Club Culture. House-Sessions also had collaborations regularly with Tribe. At these nights Sam plays Tech House and Electro sets.
The most recent of Sam’s achievements as a DJ has been gaining a residency at Liverpool and the Northwest of England’s most new and exclusive nightclub, Cube. At Cube Sam plays at SoCo LoCo every Thursday and Pout every Saturday. Cube is a glamorous yet state of the art venue and is one of the most sort after clubs in the Northwest for any DJ. Sam plays an upfront house set here playing big main room house anthems.
Sam has also been playing for the world famous house brand; Pukka Up, playing at venues from the famous Honey Club in Brighton to Garlands in his home town Liverpool and many more in between. Sam is becoming a regular favourate at Pukka Up.
Sam has had a taster of international Djing as in winter 2006 he did a gig in Torgon, Switzerland and has played venues in Ibiza such as Hush and Too Damn Glam. Check Sam out in Ibiza in 2009 as he will be heading over to play at the infamous boat party and later at Es Paradise for an appearance at Pukka Up Ibiza.
