Imovany 2003 agustosunda Eskisehir'de kuruldu. Kurucu kadroda davulda Serhan Harmankuyu, basta Durmus Kizak, gitarlarda ise Hasan Uysal ve Serhan Ayköse vardi. Bu kadro besteden ziyade cover çalismalara agirlik verdi. O dönemde Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer vb. gruplardan coverlar yapti.
Fakat gitaristlerin ikisinin de farkli sehirlere okuma amaçli gitmesinden sonra bas ve davul yalniz kaldi. Iki kisi bir sene kadar çalistiktan sonra Ilyas Ayvaz adli gitaristle tanisti ve hemen kadrosuna dahil etti. Ilyas'in gruba gelmesi ile grup çizgisini biraz degistirdi. Saf Thrash Metal yaparken kendilerini birden Thrash-Progressive-Power Metal yaparken buldu. Gitaristle birlikte ilk vokalisti Akin Akçinar'i kadrosuna dahil eden grup gazi aldi ve beste çalismalarina basladi. Iki sarkiyi kotardiktan sonra vokalistle yollarini ayirdi. Uzun süre 3 kisi devam eden grup bu sürede bestelerine yenilerini ekledi.
Yaklasik bir sene aradan sonra Akin'i tekrar çagiran grupta tek degisiklik bu degildi. Serhan daha fazla davul calmak istemedigini söyleyerek gruptan ayrildi. Grup yerini kisa süre icersinde Can Kandiyoti ile doldurdu ve siki bir çalisma içersine girdi. Bu arada grup, Ilyas'in kendi islerinin yogunlugu nedeniyle, Ilyas'la yollari ayirdi. Bu siki calisma esnasinda Burak ve Eken'i kadroya dahil etti. Besteleri iyice olgunlasan grup, yeterli imkan ve zamani buldugu anda demo yapmayi planliyor...
Imovany was founded in Eskisehir in 2003 August. Among the founders of the group we see Serhan Harmankuyu with drums, Durmus Kizak with bass and Hasan Uysal and Serhan Ayköse with the guitars. This group focused on covering rather than composing. In the beginning, it made covers of Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer etc.
But bass and drums were left alone when the guitarists of the group went to different cities for education. After these two worked alone for one year, they met the guitarist Ilyas Ayvaz and immediately added him to the group. With the coming of Ilyas, group changed its style a bit. While they were making only Thrash Metal, they found themselves with making Thrash-Progressive-Power Metal. The group was encouraged with the coming of both the guitarist and the first vocal “Akin Akçinar†and began composing. After having succeeded two songs, they broke up with the vocalist. They worked by only 3 for a long time and during this period they added new composes to theirs.
After almost a year, group recalled Akin to take place as vocalist, but that was not the only change in the group. Serhan, saying that he was no more interested in playing drums, left the group. They immediately filled Serhan’s place with Can Kandiyoti and went through a hard work. The group, whose composes have much developed, is planning to make a demo when they find the necessary conditions and time…
