Born Courtney Wallen in Robin's Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica. Born Horny was quite literally born into the music scene; his mother's waters breaking at a party in a dancehall on Independence night. Scince then, he has been honing his skills as a musical instrument (as he likes to be regarded) scince he could speak.
Not only does he write and produce, he is also a D/J at a radio station.
Origionally a part of a group called The Horny Crew making their first album the self-produced 'We Born, We Live, We Die' in 1999, followed in 2000 by 'New Life' which again was self-produced, but Unfortunately, the group disbanded but this has undeterred his passion for the music.
Manufacturing in 2004, the album 'Time 2 Buss' hotly pursued by the 'Da Horny Church' in 2005. He has worked with various record companies including Jet Star, Road Block Productions, Razor Sound, Master Link Productions, Raspec Records, Big & Bashy Records, Champy Music, Liquid Entertainment and numerous young budding producers.
He has made appearances in various events including The Southwark Community Show in Burges Park, Brixton Carnival, Brockwell Park Community, The Jubilee Show, Miss Guyana Uk Beauty Pageant. Performed at some of London most distinguished nightclubs including The Hippodrome, Oceans, 10 Rooms, Cafe Royal, NYC, Trapp and Palace Pavilion. He has also made an appearance in Jet Star's Savanna's 'O.K' video and featurd on his 'Youths dem Hustling' album as well as liquid Entertainment's Lfam 'Blueprint' record. internationally, in Jamaica he has taken part in community stage shows in his hometown of Robin's Bay, nieghbouring towns of Annato Bay and islington, whilst also making a presence as a guest on CTV and Smile Jamaica on TVJ.His main musical influences are from his hometown, these include Jahoo Culture and Marlon B. He has also observed the work of some prolific artists primarily Babysham, Jay-Z and Eminem. This mix of influences is reflected in his style, described as a cross breed of reggae with a silve of Hip-Hop. When speaking of his ambitions, he would like his music, performance style and legacy to be a hybrid of Bob Marley and The Beatles.
