Miguel Angel Corcino Santos was born in Vieques, Puerto Rico on August 23, 1984. He remained there as he grew up, and was educated in public schools. Even as a small child he always had love for music and boxing. He would continuously write his own lyrics in hopes that one day he could record them. Miguel started boxing at sixteen years old. Eventually, he expanded to fighting with international teams from New Jersey and New York. In May of 2003, he graduated from German Rieckehoff High School, majoring preparatory courses in marketing. At eighteen years old Miguel decided to move to the United States with a close friend from New Jersey, and further his boxing career. As soon as he arrived to New Jersey he began to search for a trainer; and succeeded. He found Oscar Suarez and continued to box with him for approximately a year and a half. Tragically, Suarez grew ill and passed away within an extremely short period of time. After that, Miguel put boxing to the side in remorse of his trainer.In 2007, traveling on a weekly basis to New York started occurring, after he began to focus on spending more time with family. One week, his cousin took him to his local studio with him after discussion of Miguel wanting to record the music he had written. That was the day he recorded his first song, starting the beginning of his music career. This furthered his passion of becoming an artist. He decided to move to New York, and was then introduced to the group 4kilates and DJ Reflex. Quickly, they started working together and made small performances all over New York. As opportunity grew, they even began traveling to Honduras to do opening performances for various artists such as; rakim y ken-y, dalmata ñejo, de la ghetto, and zion. Honduras was also the location where Miguel inherited his stage name G-Angel. He wanted a name to represent his middle name, yet relate with his music partner G-Life. Unfortunately, after beginning to do so well, some of the group decided to part. Now, Miguel works with the ones who stuck together, including himself; G-Angel , G-life, and DJ Reflex. They’ve recently begun to acquire numerous upcoming chances for themselves. All of them currently grow stronger together in hopes of pursuit of becoming signed music artists.
