As their name implies, Chickpeas For Earl is food for all listeners, offering up a cohesive blend of indie, alternative, grunge and roots rock textures backed by a solidly melodic lyric base. Since its humble beginnings in 2004, the band has amassed a sizeable cache of inventive original songs while injecting its uniquely driven sound into an eclectic repertoire of covers. (Think Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Wilco.) The group has performed throughout upstate New York and Vermont over the last two years. They recently established their home base in Albany, NY.
