The Streetways...well once upon a time, not so long ago, tom and jazz were in a band (Liquid Sun) who had there time, but in the end never really got anywhere. tom and jazz thought about starting up something new, but couldnt really think of suitable members, so for a while the thought had vanished. then one hot sunny day sitting in the cat grounds, winchester, kris (previously in a few short term bands) said to us "hey guys do you want to start a band"?? We both thought hmm yeh sure why not!....but as long as its a mix of all our music tastes blended together, to make some fantastically orgasmic genre, it was agreed!! about a month past and nothing really kicked off. Then eventualy it was brought up in convosataion again, YAY! soon after we had a few pretty cool jamming sessions together (starting around october this year) and a couple of basic songs coming together, this was great but there was TWO things misssing! A drummer! we had a few options but finally decided that mr Chris Petty (previously in The Fullertons, but they chucked him out for whatever reason, WHAT A FUCKING MISTAKE HAHA) would be the right man for the job :D and a NAME! we ran though a few ideas and eventually kris cam up with THE STREETWAYS...Wah!! Really soon after we decided that we should make a proper little band space, seeing as we wanted to take this really seriuously! the upstairs of kris's garage was ideal, so we bought a drum kit (today haha [17th nov]) and since then we have made about 6-8 songs of which we 3 we have decided to keep. we have how turned a page and are creating and new sound, generaly much better quality music. we are looking at haveing ben coggins as our producer as he is a good friend and fairly experienced with that....stuff ....We all enjoy many different genres of music rock, indie, mod, punk, grunge, reggae, acoustic, phsycadelic, hippie, and much MUCH more!...So there we are! I really hope that you will enjoy our music (coming VERY VERY soon, not even joking)
