The ideals which have lighted my way, and time after time have given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Kindness, Beauty, and Truth. The trite subjects of human efforts, possessions, outward success, luxury have always seemed to me contemptible. ~Albert Einstein
Ideally I would like to meet people that challenge me intellectually. People who raise the standard of excellence while having the spiritual fortitude to be humble and grateful in this life. The basics: Someone who is nice and knows what it means to be a true friend. Someone with similar standards or at least with the self confidence to respect those who are different than themselves (i promise to do the same).
Practically everything. I would never eliminate an entire genre as there is bound to be a song I'll like.Probably the music I would say has the strangest effect on me is techno. It makes me so agitated I feel like climbing the walls. Who listens to this stuff? Am I the only one it does this to?On that note, when I chop lettuce my upper lip curles. How strange is that??? Ok back to Music...I am currently going thru a country phase.
Room with a View, Mansfield's Park, Pride and Prejudice, Monster's Inc, Ice Age, Forrest Gump
I don't watch TV much. Heck I don't even have cable... but LOST is possibly the best show I have ever seen.
