DJ Profile
I’m never one to stick to one style of Techno, (there is a Techno out there for everyone!). I like to meander through Minimal and Funky, taking in some of the old school Detroit sounds, sprinkling of old skool rave, familiar vocal samples and build it up to take it somewhere, to harder Techno, Glitchy or more energized Club Techno or thundering squat rockin’ beats. (Depending where I’m playing.)
My own DJ style has evolved with my production skills; I'm playing less brutal hard bastard Techno and Acid these days (though I can still play it if requested) and concentrating more on fat techno grooves with an interesting European twist of strangeness. Mixing together Latino, Brazilian, Swedish, African percussion with funky to ‘avin it baseline’s with crisp production.
I am really enjoying playing Minimal Techno over 3 decks, (2 x 1210’s and 1 CDJ1000), I write my own tracks for this to be able to build up a collage of sound.
