Chronos

Todo comienza en el año 2003. Daniel Maldonado "Zaru" (ex-Brutal Corp./ ex-Miscarry) y David Maroto (Betrayal Remains) se encuentran en la misma clase de instituto, discutiendo sobre los gustos musicales un tanto distantes, pero relacionados con el metal.
Poco a poco, Zaru logra convencer a David de que se compre una guitarra y de que empiece a escuchar grupos como Metallica, Slayer... Era el inicio de Chronos.
Durante un tiempo, con Zaru a la batería, pasan numerosos músicos y se componen canciones que hoy en día no existen hasta que a mediados del 2004 llega un miembro fijo al grupo.
Raúl Fuster se coloca como vocalista de la banda después de entregar a David una cinta en la que demostraba sus dotes cantarines. Una tarde divertida...
Después de componer y grabar algunos temas como "Casus Belli", "Time Slave" o "Better Than All", el grupo después de estar ensayando durante año y medio le toca debutar en directo.
9 de Septiembre del año 2006. El grupo actúa en la fiesta de un amigo con Zaru como guitarra solista, sin bajista y con un amigo de estos a la batería, Sebas.
El set se basa en 6 versiones elegidas entre David y Zaru de modo que tampoco se lo tomaron tan en serio por el tipo de publico y las circunstancias de tal debut. (ver SET )
El grupo, tras un tiempo, empieza a componer canciones mas "thrashers" y mas progresivas en cuanto a estructuras y deciden mudarse a Madrid con la intención de hacer que el grupo se convierta en una ilusión, en un objetivo.
Zaru decide coger el bajo después del debate sobre si se ha de buscar un batería para dar mas fuerza en el escenario después del espectáculo que dio éste en el debut con su headbanging.
Un día como otro cualquiera en clase, David conoce a Wilfrido Vidaña.
"Fido" andaba sin grupo por aquel entonces y tras demostrar su habilidad tras los parches, David comentó a Zaru la posibilidad de que entrara a formar parte de la maquinaria. Zaru dijo sí y Fido aceptó encantadísimo entrar al grupo.
Así pues, los mallorquines tenían una base rítmica fija y potente después de 3 años de variaciones y cambios en la formación.
"Si tuviera que definir Chronos en tres palabras serian orgullo, ilusión y perseverancia. Nunca aceptaremos modas y por supuesto las ganas de ser los mejores en nuestro campo jamás se irán. Este grupo es nuestra vida y nunca lo dejaremos".

Slowly, Zaru convince David to buy an electric guitar and tell him to start to listening to bands like Metallica, Slayer... It was the beginning of Chronos.
During a time, with Zaru on drums, numerous musicians pass and they write songs that today doesn't exist until in the middle of 2004 a fixed member comes to the group.
Raúl Fuster places as vocalist of the band after delivering a tape to David in the one that was demonstrating his singer habilities. A funny evening...
After composing and record some songs as "Casus Belli", " Time Slave" or "Better Than All", after being rehearsing during a year and a half, Chronos makes the first show.
On September 9, 2006. The group plays in a friend's party with Zaru as lead guitar, without bassist and with a friend of them on drums, Sebas.
The set bases on 6 versions chosen by David and Zaru so that they did not take it so seriously as the type of public and the circumstances of that concert. (see SET ).
The group, after a time, starts composing songs more "thrashers" and more progressive on the structures and they decide to move to Madrid with the intention of doing of this group turns into an illusion, in an objective.
Zaru decides to take the bass guitar after the debate on if a drummer has to be searched to give more potency on the stage after the spectacle that did this one in the début with his headbanging.
One day like other one in class, David meets Wilfrido Vidaña.
"Fido" was without group in that time and after demonstrating his skills behind the patches, David commented Zaru about the possibility that he should be part of the machine. Zaru said yes and Fido agreed enchanted to enter into the band.
So the Majorcans had a fixed and powerful rhythmic base after 3 years of variations and changes in the formation.
"If I had to define Chronos in three words ,it will be pride, illusion and perseverance. We will never accept modes and of course our desire of being the best in our field never will go away. This band is our life and we won't never leave it ".
