Steven, born on the 8th of April in 1988. Started with music at the music academy in Grimbergen. First, he took classical courses, to go later on to the department of Pop & Jazz where Jo Mahieu, Christophe Devisscher, Gert Meert and Stef Van Straelen were his teachers. When he was sixteen, he felt this burning feeling to go on with music and started at the Art School in Antwerp. He received lessons of Bart Defoort, Bart Delacourt, Yves Peeters and Koen Liekens.
Steven studied 2 years at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven, where he received lessons from Dré Pallemaerts, Nic Thys, Peter Hertmans and Bart Van Caenegem. He took several workshops & masterclasses with Stephane Galland, Erwin Vann, Marek Patrman, Marc Turner, Bill Carrothers, Tyshawn Sorey & Heracio “el negro” Hernandez...
Besides playing music, he's also busy with producing & mixing music.
