Alexander Frederick is a San Francisco-based disc jockey who has been on the decks for eleven years, since the ripe age of thirteen. He began with an interest in scratching/turntablism and quickly discovered his talents lay in the art of mixing. At age sixteen Alex began playing gigs at underground raves in Colorado, and gained experience as a tour DJ for multiple hip hop groups between 2003 and 2006. His forward-thinking approach to DJing has allowed him to practice the craft in many capacities and as a seasoned performer he can always be expected to give a confident, energetic show that is exciting to watch. Alex has shared the stage with scores of artists ranging from Ol' Dirty Bastard and Flava Flav to LA Riots, Steve Aoki, Busy P and Armand Van Helden, amongst many others. Since moving to San Francisco in 2006 Alex has made his way around nearly all of the city's electro nights including Blow Up, Infatuation, Super Ego, French Kiss, Frisco Disco, Work, Smut and Cassettes as well as having produced his own weekly and monthly parties DotClub, Fling, Secret Service and YoungBloodz.
