I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1993 with a degree in marketing. I work for a well known financial services company. Although I enjoy working in the financial services business, I work to live not live to work. My philosophy is to have fun and enjoy what life has to offer. As you can see by my blogs, I am a huge sports fan especially college football(If you are not a Gator, then you are Gator Bait!). While in high school, I played soccer, basketball, and baseball. Outside of the sports world, my interests include anything outdoors, listening to music, exercising, traveling, movies, spending time with friends, and going to the beach(a bad day at the beach is better than a great day at work)just to name a few. In regards to traveling, someday I would like to visit most if not all the islands of the Caribbean. For vacations, I much prefer the sun, sand, surf, and palm trees to snow covered mountains. I am also a bit of a news junkie. I like to stay informed and know what is going on in the world. I do watch some TV but I'm not a fan of the reality shows. After all, I watch TV inorder to escape reality. There are a few current television programs that I do watch but most of the time I am watching the classics on TV Land. As I mentioned, I enjoy listening to music. Growing up I listened to classic rock, 80's music, and alternative rock. Now I enjoy the music of Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley. I guess I have a Caribbean soul that I just can't control. I have also developed a passion for the latin rhythms of salsa, merengue, and bachata. I took salsa lessons for 1 1/2 years and now on most weekends you can find me out on the salsa dance floor. I enjoy it tremendously and have met some great friends along the way.
