My name is Ashley Jackson. Currently, I am the Colorguard Coordinator and Winterguard Director for the Giles County High School Band Program in Pulaski, Tn.I am a graduate of Decatur High School in Decatur, Al; class of 1996.I attended Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, Al before taking an intermission from my music studies; while residing in Huntsville, Al.In 2001, I resumed my education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where continued working on a Bachelors of Science in Instrumental Music Education, with a concentration in Percussive Studies. I was a active memeber of the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Sue Samuels and Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Gene Fambrough. I also performed in the colorguard of the Marching Blazer Band, serving as captain one of two years.In addition to my musical performance ensembles, I performed with "Center Stage Performance Ensemble from JSU" an Ind. World Winterguard; in the 2004 production "Broken Vow."My colorguard career consist of Directing, Designing, Instructing, and Adjudicating in the North Alabama and Southern Tennessee area for programs such as; Hoover,Spain Park, Hueytown, Chelsea, Homewood, Southside High Schools, and UAB Winterguard.
