About Me

Hey all. I'm Steve Parish, a native american from Bay Mills Michigan. I started it all when I was young and wanted to play drums. I bought a drum set off a long time friend Dan Brehm and played drums throughout my school years. Then later, I heard the sound of Edward Van Halen from Dan and went for the guitar. My mom bought me a cheap electric guitar at Christmas and I started there. Basically, having no education in guitar, I did it all myself. From learning how to play to taking it apart and reassembling it back together to winding my own pickups, ya know Frankenstein shit. Along the years I was in several bands, one being a successful local cover band called Crossfire with my big brother Skip Parish, playing all through out Michigan and opening for numerous national acts including Blackfoot, Slaughter, Vince Neil,Warrant,Firehouse,Ted Nugent, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, and lots others I can't remember. And just recently Bret Michaels. Along the way I've been writing and recording different styles of music and the ones I'm most comfortable with and that's along more my style, I've recorded at home playing all the instruments. Which now you can hear. Thanks for reading and listening. Peace!I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
