About Me

Andy began playing the electric bass in the early 1980’s after several failed attempts at becoming a guitar player, and when at age 13 he began being drawn in by the mesmerizing bass lines of Geddy Lee of Rush and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath, Andy then decided that the bass would be his weapon of choice. Throughout the 80’s, 90’s and the new millennium Andy has continued to perform, write and record many different styles of music including Classic and Modern Rock as well as Metal, Progressive Rock, Blues, Traditional and Contemporary Jazz and even Country. Andy has performed with many different bands and projects over his musical career, which includes One Stone, Wits End, Soul Bone, Dr. Woo & the Healers, The Route 66 Band, The Mojo Tooth Rhythm & Blues Revue and Emerald Odyssey. After 25 years of styling his craft on the electric bass, Andy’s focus is now on solid tone and steady harmonic foundation. Andy's current project is the Kansas City based band "Crunchy".
