The Heartfelt Loss of our Dear Brother and Bassist, Steve Shore (1955-2009)
As many of you already know, Steve Shore passed away on March 11th, 2009. This was exactly 4 months from the day he was given his diagnosis. He fought very hard to win his battle with cancer.Steve wholeheartedly lived his life with tremendous passion for everything he did and for everyone he knew. His fixated smile was as legendary as his unbelievable talent and passion for music. He loved his wife Grace, his daughter Stephanie, his entire family and all of his friends. Steve was very touched and deeply moved by the work of the Stephen G. Shore Recovery Trust. He knew that it would help him and his family now, and it would help someone else with unfortunate circumstances later. We now continue the work of the trust as a legacy to this great inspirational human being. All shows and the Benefit Dinner will continue as planned and all proceeds will go to the Shore family for 2009.Last Licks www.SteveShoreRecoveryFund.com

The Classic Rock Experience!!
Classic rock... What does this mean to you?? A collection of candy assed wedding songs guaranteed to pack the dance floor? Soft hits of the 70s and 80s to provide easy listening while you have a meaningful conversation with a close friend?? Last Licks has their own idea about what's classic, and it doesn't include Brown Eyed Girl! You won't hear Honky Tonk Woman here!!
Do you yearn for the days of a great guitar solo? When songs left you waiting by the radio to hear who the artist was?? Do you remember the golden age of MTV.. when they actually played videos?? This is the era lovingly captured by Last Licks. Songs by early Van Halen, Aerosmith, Bad Company and Rainbow to name only a few.. the good stuff!!
This band really rocks, but there's more to Last Licks than screaming guitars. These guys all sing!! The vocals are amazing... you've got to check out the Bohemian tag at the end of "Tie Your Mother Down", or the soaring backgrounds on Joe Walsh's "In the City"... gave me goosebumps!! And the Licks don't just stand around like statues.. the stage show is high energy and they really involve the crowd.. it's all good!!
If you're tired of the same old bands, playing the same old songs, I strongly suggest you check these guys out.
