About Me

Hi everybody and thanks so much for your interest in my page. I get a lot of messages from people thanking me for bringing back memories of their 70's childhoods. I am so glad I've been able to bring a smile to some of your faces! Anyway, I also get a lot of questions about how and why I set this page up in the first place - especially since many of you know it is not my "main" Myspace page, so I thought I'd take a minute to answer some questions.I put this page together after I had gone through some very rough things a few years ago and one day I woke up and realized I had no idea who I really was anymore. It's funny how far we can wander from our original selves during the course of a lifetime. I guess I needed to recapture some of those memories so I could find the real me again - although at the time I thought I was just building the page for fun, it turned into amazing therapy! Ok, enough of that....I created the layout/background at killerkiwi.com using pictures I found online of toys I owned as a child. One memory led to another and before long this page became more of a personal scrapbook of my seventies childhood. I'm really not a seventies aficionado, collector, or aging disco queen - lol (no offense to anyone who may be any of those things) - I'm just here for the memories! And to all of you who have shared yours.... THANK YOU! And keep 'em coming!XOXO
Yep, that's me around 1972 or so. I was born in Akron, Ohio in 1970. My favorite shows as a kid were Happy Days, Laverne And Shirley, and Hong Kong Phooey. My favorite kid-foods were Freakies Cereal and McDonalds' cheeseburgers. I often wore a mood ring on my finger and a skate key on a shoe-lace around my neck. I was a Brownie and I attended Wendy Ward Charm School. Now, tell me about YOU!x

Toy Stories

Toys were great when we were kids, weren't they?  You know, before we let silly ideas about safety ruin all our fun.  Who doesn't know at least one person with a great Jart story?  (I p...

Dear Santa,

I've been REALLY good this year!  Here's my list: Oh, and I want the Charlie's Angels Hideaway House, too - if you can fit it in your sleigh! :)
