About Me

I write music. I play it sometimes. Usually on my guitar. I have that dry sense of humor that comes from writing and playing too much music.
I am into the idea of human beings doing wildly human things, like things that might not work but are worth trying anyway, or anything that seems like a wild and frantic reaching beyond the 'self.'
I'm part of a collaboratively-run art space in Brooklyn calld the Bushwick Department of Public Works. We do a lot of community-based things, like cook meals for 75 or so people in our living room, and help organize local arts festivals. We also have concerts in our common space and on our roof, and these are all produced by a group I help direct called the Addtract Consortium.
Addtract started off as a composers' collective because, well, I am one and a lot of people I know are composers, too. Now it's turned into something pretty amazing and wild. Stop by and check it out some time.
I am always making something out of nothing. I have a lot of ideas.
And a lot of freakishly red hair.
If for some reason this is exciting to you, you can learn more about me here .
Oh, and here's some artsy stuff for you to enjoy, courtesy of my band, the Suite Unraveling:More of this sort of thing on Youtube if you know my whole name and type it in the little box next to the Search button. Dig.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People that can do personal, intense things. Like play music or create great art. People with opinions about anything. I like to talk shop and I like to talk philosophy. A lot.
Oh, and fellow beer snobs, too.
