FahrenheitÂ°FM [Looking for shows]

About Me

FahrenheitÂ°FM is a collective of souls, with passion for music and good times. FFM was â€˜foundedâ€™ in the summer of 2006 by Geert Bicler (guitar) and Jan Van Decraen (drums), after their former band â€™Point The Blameâ€™ broke up over differences on dedication to the music. FFM hails from Zonhoven, a town of 20,000 in Belgium, near Hasselt, the capitol of the Limburg-province.
Willing to tread new grounds, all sorts of musical pathways were visited.
In the writing and recording process, the vocal chords of Hilde Vranken passed the test, and joined the band for a bright future. At almost the same time, former PTB-member Sven Leyssens came to our aid with his bass skills. This was to form the musical backbone of a new band: FahrenheitÂ°FM.
In 2008, Sven started to look for new horizons, and parted as a good friend. After a short search, Wouter helped us out and filled the spot.
Though the common denominator is still punk rock, a lot of influences are mixed together in this band. The music speaks for itself and is inspired on whatever makes people â€˜peopleâ€™...Sometimes with elevated spirits, sometimes a bit more pessimistic, but always filled with passion, dedication and love toward music.
