This is our art. It's an outlet. It's expression.
Sometimes it's also a big pain in the ass. Paint is messy, screens get jacked up and blank shirts are expensive. D.I.Y. isn't always easy, or even cheap, but damn it's rewarding.
On the best of days we just want to quit everything and make clothes all day. We crank up the music, open a fresh case of Pabst and dive in. Things fall together, prints look sharp we just wanna show off our little creations to the world.
On the worst of days it's a grind since we actually make all our own screens. This involves cutting and stretching fabric over a quilting hoop, setting up the photo emulsion/screen filler and then finally laying ink. It's not always easy to get off a comfortable ass couch during Scrubs/Office/Mythbusters/No Reservations and hump around printing all day.
It's love that keeps us going though. Love for art, love for music and most of all love for each other. If you love what you're doing it shows and if you love the people you're doing it with then you're already a success.
