I've been a Switchfoot fan for a little over two years now and still going strong! I live in a small city outside of Seattle, WA. I love meeting different kinds of Switchfoot fans, whether you're young, or...mature... (hehe sorry), I'd love to hear your Switchfoot story.
It's been a little over a year since SFP came front and it's always a pleasure to get to know them all!

About the Switchfoot People:
You're probably wondering a few things. One, you're wondering how I came up with "The Switchfoot People". Honestly, I made it up as a last minute thing. I didn't think this myspace would be continuing on this long, but I wanted it to be intimate and warming. "The Switchfoot People" was a play on words that went along with "The Lowercase People". (by the way, check them out if you haven't already!)
You're also wondering why I created this fanspace. Well, at first I just wanted to run my first Switchfoot fanspace, but not along the lines of flashy features and 100% reliable SF source, but just a fanspace. Now, my new reason is to get to know all sorts of Switchfoot fans out there. There are kids, teens, and (yes) parents. Even bands out there are influenced by Switchfoot. We're everywhere. Even all over the world!
The Switchfoot People, was at first, just a last-minute addition, but it turned out to be a name of Switchfoot fans coming together. The headline quotes a small verse in the song "Lonely Nation" and fits us fairly well!
So Welcome Home:
Go ahead and add "The Switchfoot People" today! It's just getting to know Switchfoot more than a band, but as people and music.
