2007 was a rollercoaster of a year for me. I found out that I was going to be an auntie again! Nick & Luisa asked Andy and I to be our soon-to-be niece's godparents.. we were so happy and honored :) Alexis Mari was born on May 8th and she is just the most precious bundle of joy - we love her so much already! Also, one of my bestest friends Danielle (& Menard) just had their little boy in June... Oliver is so cute!!! I am excited that I get to be a part of his life.
But life doesn't always go as we plan it. On November 29th I found out that my best friend Brian had passed away... He had a fatal seizure. I still can't believe he's gone... but I thank God every day that he was part of my life. I can truly say that I am a better person because of the friendship & love that he shared with me. Amazingly enough, losing Brian gave me hope. Having faith makes life worth living.
My life is so good right now... honestly, I am so happy, content & full of anticipation for what my future holds...In 2005 I finally received my BA in Sociology (I miss it so much - thought I'd never say that) from CSUF. Then, only 5 months later Andrew and I got married on October 1st. I will never forget that day and will always smile when I think of what an amazing husband God gave me. Not only is he my best friend (next to Amber of course!) but he provides for me in all aspects. From being the keeper of the bills to washing dishes (even after I burned dinner) - he is one of a kind. I can only hope that all of my friends find someone as special as him. Okay, enough CHEEZ. LOL
I am an account manager (aka production coordinator) for a wholesale lender... gotta love the mortgage industry! LOL
Yes, kids are in our future. But, it seems as though God wants us to be parents once we are set in our lives together. But, we really look forward to starting a family once God gives us the go ahead =)
In April 07 we moved to Orange where we bought a condo ~ 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & the perfect size yard for Gracie. We love it here... the location is perfect - getting to work for us is now a piece of cake! Gracie loves it here! She gets to go on lots of walks everyday at the local parks and EVERYONE has dogs in this area! Fun stuff - never thought I'd say that I love being a pet parent LOL She is soooooooo spoiled... it's hilarious. :)
