KRYSTILEZ means everything his name says. From making waves in the Hawai'i Hip Hop mainstream to polishing his lyrical expertise in the underground scene he has become the epitome of what Hawai'i is defined as...."The Melting Pot." With diversity and versatility bieng his most valuable assets, he is able to adapt to any form of rap music. He has won the Hawai'i Music Award for best Hip Hop album in 2006 for his first project, "The Greatest HI," as well as winning countless freestyle emcee battles. KRYSTILEZ has proven his skill. In his 10th year of rapping, he is now becoming one of the leading forces in the Hawai'i Hip Hop movement. Opening for such mainstream acts as Ja Rule, Paul Wall, etc. KRYSTILEZ has been in rotation on multiple radio stations and also works for Clear Channel Communication's HOT 93.9 rocking with Hawaii's top DJ's on the "Saturday Night Street Party". With multiple music videos under his belt he has captured all forms of Mass Media and maintained his street credibility by staying in touch with his home, Nanakuli Homestead. Born into the second largest race in Hawai'i, Filipino, yet still growing up in predominantly Hawaiian surroundings, KRYS is definitely influenced by all aspects of 50th state culture. Currently promoting his sophmore album "The O", STILEZ provides solid evidence of putting the H.I. in Hip Hop....and keeping it there!
