About Me

Nothing but the truth... I watch Saved By the Bell before I go to sleep at night so I won't have nightmares. One day, I plan on starting a band called My Pet Dinosaur. I own two record players but neither of them work. It makes me feel uncomfortable when people tell me how skinny I am. A few years ago at the Chicago Film Festival, I sat no more than 10 feet away from Christopher Walken. My car sounds like a motorcycle. My emotions are somewhat unstable and ridiculous at times. I own more skirts than pairs of pants. I never make my bed. I'm really good at rhyming but I can't rap unless I'm listening to Fun Club. I think that's all. Okay... bye.

My Interests

Smiling, people that are not lame, jumping up and down while playing guitar, writing, dancing, drinking cherry blings, being nice to everyone, eating free pizza, and flying kites.

AND these bands/people are, like, totally my favorites: White Stripes, Blondie, Sleater-Kinney, Sonic Youth, Flaming Lips, Pixies, Bikini Kill, Talking Heads, and the Clash.

Movies:

I like these movies toooo: Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Wet Hot American Summer, Pulp Fiction, Swingers, High Fidelity, and Halloween. OH! ALSO... I love that scene in Ransom when Mel Gibson goes, "GIVE ME BACK MY SON!"

Television:

The television in my apartment gets really bad reception but when I'm in front of a working TV, I like to watch this stuff: Price is Right, Six Feet Under, the Office, Conan O'Brien, Cheaters, and America's Next Top Model.

Books:

I have read and thoroughly enjoyed the following books: Hairstyles of the Damned by Joe Meno, Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, Geek Love by Katherine Dunn, Pretty in Punk... by Lauraine Leblanc, and Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman.
