I knew from her early childhood that she would leave home early because of her being so independent. She has not failed me but continued to be the great daughter,wife/mother/woman I knew she would.We attended an oldies but goodies dance 9/06!!!Stephen brings great joy to my heart. He is actually a lot more like me with his personality than Sherea. He's so laid back and mild mannered (but don't take that for his weakness). You will soon know when you have ticked him off. I am so grateful that he is a wonderful father to his son and taking on the role of single parenthood!!When he sees these graduation pictures I hope to be around (and cracking up) cuz he sure has come a long way!!!Stephen with his Indiana siblings, Shannon, Stephanie and David at their grandparents home in Gary, IN. It's amazing how much they favor each other and they have different mothers (smile).Here he is with best friend LG at his 30th surprise birthday party. He was born in March but since I knew I couldn't fool him I held off until December and shocked him when he walked in the club and everyone started singing "Happy Birthday."Here are some oldie but goodie pictures that the kids are going to hang me when they see them. I just had a ball going through pictures to put on here and to see their expressions! ha ha haThese three are in Gary where they played in the dirt like nobody's business!! Oh we needed them back in Texas with the green grass!....Sherea and proud hubby Derwin are really a great looking couple (as the young folks say "eye candy"). Now you can't help but see why my grands are as gorgeous as they can be - cuz the fruit don't fall too far from the tree!They have four marvelous daughters, Jasmine, Morgan, Taylor and Isabella Rose... ..Stephen has the man of the grands, Cyrus J. and this makes my life complete. Cy is so much like Hoona (I mean Stephen) that it is unbelievable!!! The two of them around together is frightening! Cy has all of Stephen's mannerisms, his personality and they even dress alike!!....My kids are a joy to me and make my life worth being a mom. ... . . . . . .This is me with my brothers, Buddy, Ron, Ray and Danny. . . . . . . . My siblings, Junyce, Beauford (Buddy), Ron Pierre, Daniel, Ernestine Jr. (Tammi) and James (RayRay) are a blessing in my life as well. I am thankful for them and now that we are alone without our parents our love for each other grows. . . . . . .Concerning my spiritual life, be a member of IDMR is a turning point in my life. My heavenly father Yahweh has allowed me to know him as he really is and actually exists. I now realize that all that I have experienced and will experience is already done and I thank Yahweh for this because I know that he is real. I have been fortunate to have brethren in bible class that are caring and genuinely concerned about me and I feel the same way toward them. My line sisters of "The Tantalizing Thirteen" (more on them later) are still a big part of my life and always here when I need them. Now my graduate chapter Mu Kappa Omega carries on the traditions and sisterhood that I experienced from my undergrad chapter. Sorors Mitzi, Shirley and Thelma are my sorority sisters that have been with me through thick and thin and they know no boundaries when it comes to being ears for me to talk and hearts that show sisterly love.MitziShirleyThelma
