My name is Gianluigi Buffon I was born in Carrara, Italy on January 28th. My mother, Maria Stella, was a disks thrower, my father, Adriano was a weight lifter, my two sisters, Veronica and Guendalina, play volleyball and my uncle, Angelo Masocco, played basketball. I am also the nephew of former Milan and Italian goalkeeper Lorenzo Buffon. I am a great guy, and I take responsibilities for ALL of my actions. I started off my carreer at the age of 16 playing for Serie A team Parma. I stayed with Parma till 2001 until I signed with Juventus and broke transfer records($58 Million)thus becoming the world's most expensive Goalkeeper. As of this summer I am officially a World Cup Champion, winning the covneted Lev Yashin Award, and posting a G.A.A of 0.28.
